Let's set up Rebuy Smart Search to transform product discovery on your store with AI-powered search that delivers personalized results and drives more sales. Smart Search replaces your default Shopify search with a faster, smarter experience, complete with a quick view dropdown and a fully customizable results page. Customers find what they're looking for faster, which means your brand gets more conversions. Here's how to get it live on your store. First, let's start in the Rebuy Admin, and we'll click on the left-hand menu, Search and Collections. Now, from here, we just gotta make sure we've configured our settings for Smart Search. That includes your quick view, results page, and keywords in general settings. You can preview everything using the in-store preview to see exactly how it looks on your site before customers are able to see it. That's a great way to make sure everything matches your branding before you flip the switch. Alright, let's get into it. So first, we need to make sure the Rebuy Connector is enabled. If you set this up during onboarding or by enabling another Rebuy feature, you might already be good to go, but let's just double-check in the Shopify theme editor. We're gonna click Online Store over on the left, and then we're gonna click Edit Theme when this window pops up. Inside the Shopify theme editor, we're just gonna click App Embeds in the top left corner, and then make sure the Rebuy Connector is toggled on. This looks good to me, so let's keep going. Next, we need to disable your current search so that Smart Search can take over. The steps here depend on your theme version. If you're on a 1.0 vintage theme, you're all set. No more action is needed. Once you activate Smart Search, Rebuy will automatically inject the code to handle search for your store. If you're on a 2.0 theme, here's what to do. Navigate back over to the Shopify theme editor and we just wanna change this off App Embeds to Sections on the top left. Great. Now at the very top of our page, we're gonna click this dropdown menu because we want to navigate away from the homepage. What we want to do now is go to the search page. So there it is there. I click that. And now on the left sidebar under Templates, hover over Search Results, and click the eye icon to hide Shopify's default search results page. Then hit Save in the top right corner. One more thing, if you're using a third-party search app, you'll need to disable that as well. Smart Search doesn't integrate with any other search engines, so make sure to follow deactivation instructions from that app provider before proceeding. Now for the final step, we're back in the Rebuy Admin. We're on the Smart Search page. Now we wanna open the Global Settings page. All we have to do is toggle Smart Search on. Once you enable it for the first time, give it up to 30 minutes for your products to sync. And after that, your AI-powered search is live and ready to help customers discover products faster. And that's it. Smart Search is running on your store, delivering personalized search results that drive more sales. If you run into any issues, like Smart Search isn't delivering results, double-check that Shopify's native search is fully disabled and that your trigger elements are correctly linked to your search button. You can also connect to our support team at any time by hitting the Rebuy logo in the bottom right corner of your admin. That's all for this video. We'll see you in the next one.
