How the Competition Schedule Works
Unlike a traditional sporting event, surf competitions don’t run on a fixed daily schedule. The WSL monitors swell, wind, tides, and surf conditions throughout the competition window and determines when competition will run.
That means we may not know the exact competition days until approximately 24–48 hours in advance.
Current El Niño conditions are expected to provide a favorable swell pattern, so we anticipate the competition running across approximately 4–5 days during the window, potentially with several competition days running consecutively. However, the final schedule is entirely dependent on conditions and determined by the WSL.
What happens after you RSVP?
When you register, let us know which dates during the competition window you’re available to attend.
As soon as WSL confirms the competition schedule, the Rebuy team will reach out to confirm your VIP day and provide everything you need to know, including arrival timing, transportation and access details.
