How to install Rebuy

Get Rebuy up and running on Shopify to unlock revenue growth with personalization

Welcome to Rebuy. Let's get you set up installing our app by following these easy steps. We'll start in the Shopify Admin. In the left-hand menu, let's click Add under Apps. From here, click Shopify App Store in the bottom left of this popup window. And now in the top search bar of this new window, let's just search Rebuy, and that's us there.

Right there. Click Rebuy Personalization Engine. This is our app store listing page. All we have to do is click Install in the top left. Perfect, and we just click Install once more. There we go. From here, you'll create an account with Rebuy by filling in your information, and if you need to input a verification code, just go to your inbox, grab that code, come back here and input it in the next screen.

Awesome. We're almost done here. Let's make a password that fits these requirements, and now we get to choose our Rebuy product package. Here's a little bit about the products that make up these product packages. Let's start with our most popular package, Cart and Merchandising. With it, you can add personalized product recommendations like upsells, cross-sells, one-click dynamic bundles, and our custom Bundle Builder across your storefront.

And then there's our Rebuy Smart Cart, which is our highly customizable slide-out cart where you can have easy-to-add features like a Tiered Progress Bar, Buy More Save More, Gift with Purchase, Switch to Subscription, and AI-powered upsells and cross-sells. This package is a revenue-driving powerhouse.

It boosts conversion rates. It lifts customer lifetime value, and it increases AOV. Next package is Checkout and Post-Purchase. Step-by-step

Step 1: Access the Shopify App Store

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Add under Apps
  3. Click Shopify App Store in the bottom left of the pop-up window

Step 2: Find and Install Rebuy

  1. In the top search bar, search for "Rebuy"
  2. Click Rebuy Personalization Engine
  3. Click Install in the top left
  4. Click Install once more to confirm

Step 3: Create your Rebuy account

  1. Fill in your information to create an account
  2. Check your inbox for a verification code (if required)
  3. Enter the verification code
  4. Create a password that meets the requirements

Step 4: Choose your product package(s)

Select from the following packages based on your needs:

  1. Cart and Merchandising – Personalized product recommendations, upsells, cross-sells, dynamic bundles, Bundle Builder, and Smart Cart
  2. Checkout and Post-Purchase – Intelligent offers on checkout, thank you page, order status pages, and risk-free post-purchase upsells
  3. Flows and A/B Testing – Automated campaigns, experiments, Smart Flows, and Reorder Landing Pages
  4. Search and Collections – AI-powered Smart Search and Smart Collections

Optional add-ons:

  1. Premium Support – Dedicated success manager and priority technical support
  2. Rebuy Monetize – Free third-party offers on thank you and order status pages

Step 5: Start free trial

  1. Once you’ve selected your product package(s) and additional add-ons select start free trial

Step 6: Enable the Rebuy Connector

  1. In the Rebuy Admin, click Enable Rebuy Connector in the top right corner
  2. Confirm the toggle is moved to the right (enabled)
  3. Click Save in the top right corner

  • A free trial begins immediately after initial install. Rebuy offers an industry-best, 21-Day trial and money-back guarantee. After the trial period, standard billing applies and the first invoice will be calculated by your store's OPM (orders per month) count and the aligning tier. Future invoices will also take into account RGR (Rebuy generated revenue).

  • Rebuy guarantees a positive ROI (return on investment) for all customers using our products. A positive ROI is calculated by taking the amount spent on the Rebuy platform compared to the additional revenue driven by Rebuy.

  • RGR is all revenue driven by Rebuy within a given period. RGR is only applied to sales driven directly by a Rebuy widget, link, search, or recommendation workflow.
